Also from Guangyun, Jiyun, Yunhui, Zhengyun: Bóbàn cut, with a departing tone. The meaning is the same. During the Song dynasty, there were guǎnbànshǐ (officials who accompanied foreign envoys). Also from Jiyun, Yunhui, Zhengyun: Pǔbàn cut, pronounced pàn. In the Book of Odes (Shijing), Greater Odes: "You wander at ease, bànhuàn." Note: Bànhuàn means leisurely and relaxed. Also from Yunbu: Rhymes with Píbiàn cut, pronounced biàn. In Songs of Chu (Chǔcí), Nine Chapters: "The masses are startled and dismayed, their hearts alienated; how can I have a companion for this?
