Pronounced pu jue (falling tone) in Guangyun, and bi jue (falling tone) in Jiyun, same pronunciation as "bao" (hailstone). It is a type of bamboo. The Yiwuzhi (Book of Strange Things) records: "Bamboo (shán), its thickness can reach several spans, the distance between the nodes is short, the bamboo stalk is solid, full, and strong inside, and can be used as beams and pillars for houses." Also pronounced fu liu (falling tone) in Yupian, and fang liu (falling tone) in Pian and Jiyun, same pronunciation as "fu" (blessing). Refers to a weaving tool. Another explanation refers to a type of bamboo.
