Zi Collection, Upper Volume Radical: Earth (tǔ) Page 102, Entry 04 According to the *Zhengzitong* (正字通), this character is the same as "硻". It was originally written as "硜". In the *Yantielun* (盐铁论), it is written: "Most vessels are hard and solid (䃘)." Huangfu Mi's *Shiquan Pian* (释劝篇) states: "Dragons hide in the deep abyss (䃘九渊)." Additionally, Han Yu used the character "䃘" in his poetry. Using "硻" as the standard form and adding the earth radical is incorrect.
